Kinds of Microscopes
Microscopes may be divided into two classes simple and compound. The difference between the two being that with simple microscopes view the object directly, while with compound microscopes a magnified image is observed. Simple microscopes show the objects in their true position, whereas compound microscopes shows them reversed, so that what is right in the object is left in the image, and when an object appears to be moving in a certain direction, the movement is in reality the reverse, and must be moved accordingly to keep it in view.
